Thin Lines in a table

If you want to know how to achieve the thin lines in a table, read below.
I finally figured out how to achieve the thin lines in a table. It involves nesting. In first table the background is black with the cellspacing = "0". The second table nested inside it the background is black, but with individual cells the background is white with the cellspacing="1". This method allows the tables to work in both IE and Netscape. VOILA!
